Budget ÷ cost per click = clicks
Your cost per click depends on your keywords, competition and Quality Score. Check it in Google Ads or Keyword Planner.
Clicks × rates = customers
Conversion rate turns clicks into enquiries. Close rate turns enquiries into paying customers. These two are where most accounts leak money.
Margin − spend − fee = profit
ROAS alone can mislead. Profit uses your gross margin, so you see what Google Ads actually puts in the bank.

Google Ads forecast questions.
How accurate is this Google Ads forecast?
It is only as accurate as the numbers you enter. Use your own cost per click, conversion rate and close rate where you have them. If you are new to Google Ads, treat the result as a starting estimate and check it after the first 60 to 90 days of real data.
What is a good ROAS for Google Ads?
It depends on your margins. A business with a 50% gross margin breaks even at a ROAS of 2x, before fees. That is why this forecast shows profit after ad spend and fees, not just ROAS.
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
Work backwards from the number of new customers you want each month. Use the "What budget do I need?" tab: it turns a customer target into a monthly budget based on your cost per click and conversion rates.
Why does the forecast start lower in the first months?
New campaigns need time to collect data, find the searches that convert and cut wasted clicks. If you tick "Include learning period", months 1 to 3 run at reduced efficiency. Untick it to see a flat forecast.
Are the industry examples real benchmarks?
No. They are example starting values so you are not facing a blank form. Every business is different, so replace them with your own numbers.
